I don't want to talk about who crashed their car when using it or horror stories. I commute on 101 in the Bay Area and time to time I turn my autopilot on. Here are a couple just be aware notes; If the driver in the next lane steers towards your lane, the car will not move to the left to keep the distance. It is still watching the lane markings, not the guy who is texting. It is time to move the car your self. The car does not understand lane sharing. When you see motorcycle approaching, get ready to move to the left side of the lane. When you are in the carpool lane, if the car in front of you decides to exit to a very slow moving lane, the car breaks hard instead of veering away and continue. Don't forget the car behind you maybe a car pool cheater playing with his/her cell phone, not paying attention thinking it is a nice flow of traffic. Tell me if you have tips that you would like to share.
