Just wanted to share a video how bad are Autowipers on my Model X 2018 with latest firmware.
Someone here told me that his Autowipers are working fine. Can you please let me know if that is how it works in your car?

The rain was pouring none stop but wipers were triggered Only when it was almost impossible to see on the highest sensitivity settings.

    Thanks

Funny, I was just thinking this morning that I feel my autowipers have improved since they were deployed on AP2's. I did notice that if it did lag and I needed to trigger it (with the button on the side of the stalk) the resulting swipes after would end up being more in line with what I would want. I'm not sure if the system is actually learning my habits or if it's just chance though.

I think they are not working properly as a protest to your music selection...

They seem a little lagged, but not by a lot. My Lexus was slow to wipe when at a stop. The wiper frequency was affected by both driving speed and amount of water. To really be able to compare, you'd need to take a video when driving like 20, 35, 50+ mph. Please don't do that though. Have someone else take a video in the car with you if you do that ;)

Wipers? Haven't seen rain in so long I am not sure my cars have them. I guess I will find out in November.

Weird. Your youtube video was messed up for me last night. When I first watched it, all it showed was you at a stop. I see it now, but that actually doesn't seem too bad for me. That rain isn't coming down that hard. Guess I'm used to more flooding rains in Austin, when it does rain.
