AWD delivery thread

Was able to take delivery today! Delivery advisor and delivery specialist at MDR were great at quickly resolving my paint bubble issue. Wasn’t able to fully inspect other areas of the car as it I took delivery in the evening, but hopefully nothing else major comes up.
Well we went to pickup the car today. We came in 20 minutes early but the delivery specialist was busy with other customers’ delivery. Short story, after 2 hrs spent at the Cleveland showroom, we ended not taking the car home until they fix the minor paint defect on the hood and bumper. They are going to get the issue resolve and will call us when it is ready. We really wanted to take the car home but everytime I’m washing and waxing the car, I’ll be seeing the defects. Good thing I did not make an appointment for Clearbra install.
If you've had due bill paint work, make sure your detailer knows about it so can schedule you out far enough for them to do the PPF.

Tesla is going to miss a lot of Dec delivery in Hawaii. I ordered M3 in Oct. The cars are in Honolulu but because of bad planning there is no more boat available to ship to the neighborhood islands on-time! We are waiting the official communication and what are the options available, even January delivery is not secured... 
Not specific to AWD but damn, bless all you guys. Last week/days before new year. That is way too much stress for me.
I did go thru same thing with solar City submitting and getting my permit approved to meet the Net Metering 1.0 deadline. Snuck in on the very last day. A LOT of calls for 3 weeks and it was totally solar city's negligence.

Happy New Year All, I Just want to update you with my delivery. Dec 1st and now Dec 31st delivery dates did not materialize...the account is now reset without delivery date, Tesla agent D.F. responsible for neighbor islands does not pick his phone or respond to VM/email. In Honolulu everybody said we will call you back today or tomorrow, same story since the last 3 weeks that my car is in Honolulu.
No sure what to think of the situation and nobody in Tesla can update me...I am so disappointed by the "No communication"..
Very sadly at this point i am thinking seriously about cancelling it.
Oh, don't do that! Honestly I think you would regret it after you have a chance to drive one and passed on owning one. Maybe they are having delays in getting it transported from Oahu to Maui and it's not within their control. I know buyers on the east coast had delays when Tesla was having trouble lining up enough trains and car carriers to get the cars moved in that direction. I do know that this time of year even the passenger ships don't make frequent trips to the islands--know a tour guide on the Big Island that has commented on the limited ship traffic. As for the lack of email/phone reply, don't know if you have followed along in other delivery threads but communications with Tesla has not always been great. One of their growing pain issues for sure. What color and version of the car did you order BTW?
Love Maui. Got married there and stayed in Kihei one or two times when there. I can't imagine a better place to be driving my Model 3 with your coastal and mountain views and stunning sunrise and sunsets! You can really appreciate those views including the rainbows from the great expansive windshield and glass roof. Happy New Year to you too!

My sales advisor says my car will be end Feb best case. Ordered Jan 12, portal says estimated January delivery.
Placed and order this afternoon and submitted everything this evening. Now we wait, which is ok I guess. It's winter in Michigan and I probably won't take it out much in the salt and snow at first. Blue, LRAWD, Aeros, EAP.

Hope all goes as planned @Mikeat00 Saturday should be sunny, so a good day to drive it. Although a bit cold at 20° F. If picking up in Cleveland you may have to stop at Supercharger in Maumee or Toledo (depending which way you go) to finish your trip home. When I picked mine up I asked the day before for for a full charge. They were very helpful and it was on the charger and full when I got it.

Hi @9114s. Has the cargo ship situation improved there between the islands and hopefully you have your car by now? Or at least a schedule delivery date? We’re almost twins, except my car, named Kealani BTW, has all black interior (well except for the roof area of course).
Pick up today was smooth. Love the car and the drive home was a blast. Topped off in Toledo and now it’s charging in the garage.
