Received a call from the ISA on Tuesday and he gave me a VIN of 549xx. We didn't schedule a delivery date yet, but the ETA is 8/18.

Non owner
Reservation: 04/01/2016
Ordered: 06/27/2018
Configuration: LR, AWD, Sport, EAP, Silver
Pickup: Charlotte, NC
Est. Delivery: Sept-Nov.
Hmm. I have the same config but owner, reserved a day earlier and ordered a day earlier. Still waiting on a call...

Received a call from the ISA on Monday. Received a delivery date of 8/17 (but said it could be as soon as 8/14). VIN of 636XX

non owner
Reservation: 3/31/16
Ordered: 6/27/18
Configuration: Long range, AWD, Sport tires, autopilot, blue
Pickup: Littleton, CO
Est Delivery still said Sep'18 - Nov'18 when I got the call.

So excited!!

:(

Speaking of 8s, I did happen to type in an 8 instead of a 1 for one of the birthdates. I updated things nearly three weeks ago but no word since. Sad if that one mistake caused me to lose my place in line!

So my situation is: I was invited to configure on 1/17/18 (current owner, first day online reservation). I deferred waiting on AWD + Performance. I finally got tired of waiting and configured/ordered a LR RWD on 4/14/18 (which said delivery in 3-6 weeks). After more than 7 weeks with no update and no VIN I called and indicated I wanted to change to AWD Performance on 6/3/18. I was finally able to reconfigure to the AWD P on 6/27.

In this entire time (up until and including now) I have had no updates from Tesla of any kind. I tried to make a change online to add my insurance a few weeks ago and after initially getting "...you will be contacted within 48 hours..." (which I wasn't) the My Tesla page now sits in the same status as yours "A delivery experience specialist is reviewing your changes and will contact you prior to delivery".

Honestly, I'm okay with the wait but the complete and total lack of updates or progress reports from Tesla sucks.

Mike

No word from Tesla yet... I keep second guessing myself and thinking of canceling because nothing wrong with my BMW i3... But have been dreaming of a Tesla since 2009....

Get in line; I ordered 5/23 originally and haven't gotten anything yet, meanwhile people who have ordered way after me have been getting cars. I know I'm not the only one in the same boat though...

Newbie here- sorry if this is a dumb question:

Reserved 5/2016, configured 7/31 right after the first test drive was available and taken. Midnight silver, non-P AWD, 19” wheels. Delivery planned for Mt Kisco NY. Oct-dec time frame. Stuck on “next steps awaiting contract etc” page without any other contact of any sort since I plunked down the non refundable deposit.

Question is- people keep talking about emailing ISAs (internet service advisor?)- how does one even get an email address of one of these people? I’ve had zero human contact the entire way except for the test drive itself. And when you call customer service it’s an hour+ of waiting. Thanks in advance.

When you get a VIN assigned you will also be contacted by your ISA (Internal Service Advisor if I remember correctly).

Mine was the other way around. My ISA called me first and then I was issued my VIN a few days later.

Same here, my ISA has contacted me multiple times to answer questions and also responded via emails. Tentative delivery date is 8/20 but I am out of country and asked him if he could do 8/23. He said he will try but no guarantees, I asked him for VIN and he said DS will get in touch when assigned.

That would be the first confirmed non-performance with the white interior.
