AWD delivery thread

Can anyone confirm that I should be waiting at the "Complete the steps below to take delivery" step while I wait for my VIN/delivery? I've finished everything (green checks) and the Payment Method is a grey circle with three dots (selected financing through Tesla, though I'll also shop my credit union). The status message makes it seem like I still need to complete steps, but there aren't any left to do...

Yes, Silver metallic with 19" sport wheels. Still waiting for my actual delivery date. It is tentatively scheduled for 8/18.

Hi XBS9, I am at the exact same spot you are with the following differences: reservations and configuration made a month later than you. Look at tread # 670. His estimate delivery dates changed when he changed his interior color.

I'm sure you already know this, but just want to make sure so you (and maybe others) don't have to wait longer than you need too, but when the Payment Method and Trade-In dots (three of them) go yellow, that means your ready for the next step and if you expand them it should prompt you for more details about each section.

If you're like everyone else here though, you've probably clicked everything 5 times daily at a minimum hoping for advancement.

Gah! Every time I see a new email pop in from this subscribed thread that has "AWD delivery" in the subject, my blood pressure spikes just a tiny bit. Couple that with the two "Tesla delivery" notices I just received for cargo mats.... If/when my ACTUAL car delivery email comes, it may be an anti-climax.

Assuming all goes as planned, I'm taking delivery today of my 3 today in Dedham. (AWD, MSM, 18's)

Since everything seemingly has to happen at once, I'll have just enough time to drive it home and then leave the country for 10 days.

Best way to go is the front/rear set direct from Tesla. They're Model 3 branded Weathertechs... for $40 less than Weathertech wants for the units with their logo sticker on them. (Rear is same price, Tesla front mat is $40 cheaper for some reason). I've used weather tech mats in my last three cars, and won't use the cargo area without them! Man, they've seen some abuse.

I keep trying that with my neighbor buddy, but he keeps forgetting to register my phone to the car, and takes both card keys with him for some reason.

Mine doesn't. Forgot to ask if/how they wanted to add it. I don't really care if I have it or not, so I'll probably just let it be.

Saw that one screen with yellow dots that someone else posted, not sure what is going on there.

Yea, the yellow dots are what happens when your delivery specialists starts the process on their end. It means you can start filling in some of those otherwise blocked items. Some people see the change on the website first, some get a call first and some get an email first. The great thing about standards at Tesla customer service is that everyone gets their own; so watch all three.
