I can confirm as well. Delivery now scheduled for 12 PM CST next Friday and VIN appeared around 2 PM CST today.

Very small sample size, but perhaps they are finally standardizing this and getting away from chasing down VIN 2-3 days before scheduled delivery for those still waiting. If it weren't for my delivery being rescheduled from Monday, I'd be stressing as I need executed MVPA to wrap up financing, which was dependent on the VIN.

Sample size of one, I have home delivery scheduled less than a week away (was 9/24 now 9/26 on my request) and still no VIN or purchase agreement (MVPA). Of course in my case the VIN doesn't matter until the car shows up since I'm not financing. I'm also in SF bay area so they probably access to more vehicles to swap in at the last minute.

Made my weekly call to Tesla today to see if I have a VIN yet. Decided to call the local delivery center (Alpharetta, GA) instead of the corporate number. Didn’t improve my luck but it did drastically reduce my wait time from 30+ minutes to about 30 seconds. Spoke to a very nice young lady who checked my reservation and said no (of course) I do not have a VIN yet, but based on my order date (6/29) and how many they are delivering I should expect to hear something as early as next week. Same answer I’ve gotten for the last 3 weeks btw. I did ask her if they were getting a truckload of Model 3s every day now, and she said “actually, several truckloads per day.” No way to know if that’s true or not but I certainly hope so. 12 weeks since my order and still nothing but crickets. I think I’m going to go have a good Moscow Mule with dinner tonight.

I had a delivery set for 27Sep (Thu) in Seattle - SoDo in the morning.

I called yesterday because it's been 11 days since I received a confirmation for the trade-in input and still no trade-in value. I learned I had a VIN and sure enough when I logged into my account, no edit button and there was the VIN. I also found out who my advisor was and fired an email off.

This morning I called Tesla to find out why the trade in value is taking so long. Still trying to get my advisor to hook-up with me.

I just got the call, delivery canceled, moved to 15 Oct. Still have yet to communicate with my advisor and find out what my trade is going to be.

When did you reserve and what's your config? If you're a day 1 and they pushed you out to the middle of the Sept-Nov window, that doesn't bode well for me as a 5/2018 res holder

Eshepley- Glad to see you get your VIN. Are you taking delivery in Westmont or Highland Park. I also have a 3pm 9/25 delivery date. Highland Park.

Did you check to see if you still have your VIN?

I'm cooking up a conspiracy theory since some folks who had VINs and then received cancellation notices are told the VIN is no longer valid: Our Model 3s are now held hostage in a remote compound to be sold to earliest reservations holders who are willing to pay a premium to be matched to a car that is ready to deliver. Anyone have a better story?

Same delivery location as me. Curious, how did you find out you were delayed? I got delayed today, from the scheduling advisor in Freemont. I haven't been contacted by anyone from Highland Park yet.

I was a 9/24 delivery. They only offered me 9/30, which is a pretty difficult day for me to pull it off. I inquired if I could move one day later, which I know they won't love. If not, I'll probably suck it up and drive down... Vin hasn't disappeared...

I was rescheduled from the 22nd to the 28th on Wednesday of this week. VIN that was previously visible until after the delay call just popped up a week before the new appointment. Same VIN! Exactly what the reacheduler said...wouldn't lose VIN, it's just the way the website is coded.

Very cool! We ordered the exact same configuration and have nearly the same delivery schedule.

Like others, we're still waiting on a VIN. We're also waiting on a Signature Black Wall Connector that was supposed to have been shipped to us on Sept. 5 through the referral program - we're wanting to have it available for the Model 3.

I got a text from Sean on the delivery schedule team this afternoon. Said car won’t be ready 9/26 and asked if I could do 9/29 at 1:30. I told him I would take earliest time available....which is 9/29 at 1:30. Refreshed account page shortly after confirming new time and it had updated. Still have VIN. Just waiting on trade in. Personally being handled by an Advisor Specialist in Vegas.

17 hours away from my scheduled delivery (9/22 10:30am) and received the dreaded call from Tesla. I almost didn’t answer to pretend this wasn’t happening.

BUT... it was the delivery center just informing me of what to expect and that my car was ready! What? After 613 days this might actually be happening...

Just read interesting article online with Elektrek about Tesla desperately trying to move inventory vehicles unmatched to customer orders by end of Q3. If you don’t have a VIN and want a 3 quickly, maybe worth a call to Tesla and request inventory sheet to pick from.

Just refreshed account and VIN disappeared and verification of information came up. I had to review and acknowledge my trade in info, financial terms, vehicle configuration, insurance info, personal info. I guess next step is them sending final contract to sign. Still don’t have trade in proposal. Feels like things are moving in right direction, though.

Just checked and Mt. Kisko NY location has few RWD and P's available on the inventory... not my preference..so anyone interested call them and grab it. I'm sure every major location might have few like this.

Sounds like Tesla produced a whole bunch of RWD till July and then 1000's of P's as priority while producing low volume of AWD's. in trouble for sure beyond the Q3 madness as AWD will become inventory item by end of Oct (trackers clearly prove this).

Does it matter at this point? What was your window? That's YOUR window. Whatever happened to others is irrelevant.

Got cancelled today. Same deliver cancel but bellevue, WA. Former deliver date was 9/26. Next one is 10/11. I have MSM, EAP, Full autopilot.

I just logged in and saw a VIN in the high 103s, must be same batch / delivery truck.

Yea picking up in Westmont. Hopefully that means we will all get to keep our delivery dates and it will be on time.
