Picked up White/White LR AWD yesterday in Florida. Everything was great except a pin sized paint blemish above the "T" that I think they tried to fix, and a slight misaligned bumper/quarter panel front headlight (very, very slightly) where they meet. Interior was great and the trim on the sides and back were aligned perfectly. We'll see how they fix the hood, but I'm sure they'll fix it.

Hi there...so we ended up not taking delivery...there were a bunch of panel alignment issues...pretty much every panel needed adjustment, albeit minor. Pretty sure if I had not read the forums to be made aware of what to look out for, i would not have noticed them. But I did...so...
(my wife did say I might have been too picky...)

Panels were not aligned, gaps were inconsistent, the plastic well cover on the rear whee wells were not connected correctly, the rear seat backrest needed adjustment, minor paint touch up needed on the latches/hinges on the trunk (it looks like they might have adjusted it once and the removing of the screws removed some of the paint in the area).
The service guy was great and he kept taking pictures of what i noticed and documented everything. He actually gave us the option to either take it home for now any note any other issues and then schedule an appt, or to just leave the car with them so that they can take care of the issues.
We decided to leave the car. We would have to re-sign the paperwork again on the next delivery date, hopefully later this week.

Thank you for your post. Were you able to inspect the car, inside and out, before payment? It's still not clear to me what to expect regarding payment, declined delivery and released VIN..
 
Got msg at 8:44 PM last night requesting response that night about pickup time on 6/30...only date option given. Guess if I had delayed responding they might have given the car to someone else in their desire to deliver as many cars as possible before the end of the quarter. Noticed they did not give me credit for $100 deposit. Anyone else notice that? Ordered 2/1/2020. White, white, LR-AWD, Gemini, FSD, tow hitch.

There was only one day offered to us via the website/app, but once we took a spot, they reached out to us and offered to delver it earlier, so check your voicemail...

How is the paint matching between the driver and rear driver doors? Also the bumper? Noticing white exterior having issues (driver door being darker than the one behind it).

Oops! I see where the $100 credit was given.
 
Today is delivery day for me! Hoping for the best in build quality, but I also know that some issues are on most cars and they will fix most after. I will report back later today!

Happy, nervous, excited, scared, ecstatic are all my emotions right now - I feel like a kid on Christmas morning...except with the small chance in the back of my mind that Santa didn't come
 
Things are moving along now.

Today received email with URL for scheduling day and time (Wed-Fri only).

Delivery scheduled for Wednesday 24th. Fingers crossed, checklist at the ready. Must get from Tucson to Phoenix.

Hope it goes well for your delivery tomorrow.
We have the Almost same configuration Red , White interior awd, fsd, gemini wheels, but also added a tow hitch on 5/21. got the message that the car would be ready in 1 to 2 weeks on June 14. Added fsd after we got the delivery in 1 to 2 weeks msg.
 
Any Blue/whites get their vin recently. Feels like I’ve been waiting forever and I was told by the end of June...

A while back I got the text that it would be ready by the end of this month (June). I opted to delay until January because I am concerned about quality issues. I'm not sure if a VIN would have been assigned but the text did imply that it would have been end of June sometime for delivery.

Im tempted to cancel my $2500 deposit and retry ordering again in a few months

I’ve emailed my delivery support specialist (who contacted me pre-covid) but have not received a response

Similar situation here. Ordered October and got the "delivery in 2-4 weeks" text at the beginning of June, but nothing since then. I would have rather not gotten that text atsat all it only got my hopes up and is turning out to be a lie.

We should start a support group. All these delivery posts are depressing me. I may need to quit this forum cold turkey.
