One day after getting my new VIN yesterday I have delivery scheduled for Thursday 7/16.
Moral of the story: If you get a VIN and then don't hear anything from them, don't wait 50 days to call.

fyi- Seattle and other West coast delivery times are quick. Shipping to the east coast can be several weeks. I agree though, Don't wait, I will be calling too when I get that VIN.
I still havent heard anything. Getting really annoyed and frustrated at this point. Even if I get a VIN today it probably wont be here till August.

Pickup date set for Monday the 27th. Based on some posts on this message board, went ahead and did an online chart with Tesla this afternoon and requested my account be updated to the current Model Y pricing. It was a piece of cake. After a few hours, i logged on to my account and sure enough the price of the car listed was 3k cheaper with my down payment amount reduced by the same amount. Glad i checked the message board this morning!

I asked my delivery specialist about updating to current Model Y pricing. It didn't sound like he knew how to do it, asked if I want him to 'try'. Maybe I should have used Tesla chat instead. Glad to hear you were able to do it. Are you using a loan that has already been approved?
I just refreshed and I see the new pricing, and lower down payment.

I have a white/white/ 19” on order, just got VIN for Tampa delivery on 7/25 (I hope)
If you go by mine, you have a long ways to go. But others have gotten theirs in a few weeks. So who knows what or how they pick who is next!

Ordered 3/5/20 W/W non-performance 19's SE PA, responded June to the June delivery texts, still nothing...all tasks have been completed, requested price change through Tesla chat yesterday and confirmed that I would like the new pricing by email. Said it would take 24 hours to update. Hoping it doesn't change my place in line.
Yes, i have an approved loan. 60 day window of approval expires at the end of the month so assuming my delivery date holds, will have met the cutoff just in time.
Reached out to my sales advisor via chat. Although it's only been a week since I've ordered. Got a response that I was a few weeks out to delivery. Still haven't received a VIN
