Ok really weird. They have the optional performance package with no price increase but lower range and faster speed. 1 to 60 is the same. I guess this is like a stealth performance model?

Their earnings report under the “Battery and Powertrain” section, state’s engineering progress, has allowed them to expand the range. Perhaps motor, battery, or wiring harness efficiencies.

Maybe, partially. Here is one explanation.

And another with the individual possible results (TBD...we will know in a few weeks what the real numbers are)...I made up the Highway result and the scalar. Though the scalar of 0.739 is within the range of what Tesla has used before for Model S.
