Awesome experience powder coating wheels!

For those of you interested in powder coating your wheels, and/or brake calipers, I wanted to share my AWESOME experience with you.

After calling around many of the local shops, I realized the process wasn’t going to be easy. Most places require 3-7 days to powder coat your wheels. You either have to leave your car with them, or bring them the wheels.

To make matters worse, if you bring them your wheels, they require that no tires be mounted to the wheels since they do not offer tire service. I purchased a set of wheels/tires locally, since I didn’t want to have my car sit at a shop for days.

I kept looking for a better option, and I found Luis at JR Wheel. First off, Luis is extremely friendly and accommodating! He offers same day service if you drop off your car in the morning. If you prefer to bring your wheels, he offers tire service and it’s all included in the cost of the powder coating. Best of all, I couldn’t find a better price to powder coat your wheels and brake calipers: $500 for the wheels and $300 for the calipers. Also, if you have any curb damage on the wheels, he will repair them before powder coating.
