Haha, didn't notice that until you pointed it out. It probably was, but I bet the filmmaker just used it as something recognizable related to autopilot.
Great commercial. It should get an award! I have two friends that are now legally blind. When I took one of them's wife for a ride in my Model3 and showed her autopilot, the first thing she said was: "Maybe my husband will be able to drive again".
The three-beep sound is for warnings and alerts. (Autopilot has a different two-note chime.) But still, it's not a sound you want to hear when driving, especially if you are unable to take manual control of the car.
That is well done. Strong storytelling. P.S. The lack of a strongly fixed camera position on the closing shot hurt it a lot though, IMO. The tag phrase there on the screen really draws distracting attention to how much the camera is moving around.
