We picked up our X a few weeks ago and just had the full front end wrapped with Suntek including mirrors along with the rear bumper area below trunk lid, door sills in matte (aluminum piece), trunk sill (side pieces) and seat backs with matte.

Also had the driver and passenger door tinted with Photosync 35%.

The work was done by Rick and his team at Cactus Window Tint (North Scottsdale) and they did a fantastic job and are happy with the results! Highly recommend them and they previously wrapped our S as well.

Not yet... So far it hasn't been bad. We did tint our Model S windshield but are waiting to see if we need to do any tint on the X outside of the Driver/Passenger doors.

Mr. Irishstoutaz, would you be willing to share the cost?

Suntek will be cheaper than XPel but also depends on your location I am certain. Based on doing everything we did, I would say to expect somewhere between $2.8k and $3k for Suntek and a bit higher for XPel.

Thanks. Is Suntek better for AZ? Wondering why you chose Suntek over Xpel.. Price, quality, availability?

Actually that is what Cactus offered... Suntek has 5 year warranty vs. 10 year for Xpel. We have been happy with Suntek on our S.
