Thanks for all the tips on why to back in. I've seen some people back their ICE cars in all the time, but it seems to be on another level with Tesla's (except for this one jerk at my company, who pulls their 3 into the charging spot nose first, then stretches the cable across the next spot to the back of his car, so it rests on the car next to him and sometimes snags that car's mirror when they try to leave!).
I need to start remembering to back in for all these good reasons, and so I get used to it for when I do charge away from home (I pull into my garage and my HPWC is by the garage door so it's made me lazy). I do worry about scraping my nose on high curbs when I pull in, but so far I've been lucky.
