Backup Camera

    I haven't seen much discussion in awhile about a backup camera. Is anything looking into this for the roadster? It would be well worth doing.

    I think JVC makes a sort of "license plate" camera specifically for the nav-unit the Tesla ships with. It should not be too difficult for any car audio install shop to install it I would think.

    Martin replaced his mirror for a smaller one. Taller people have a forward right view problem with the huge stock mirror. A camera on the back would help and the radio unit has an video screen option.

    This thread might be better in Tesla Parts.

    That's a moderator thing.

    A lot of cars have backup cameras stock. Italians, Japanese and Americans are all embracing the technology.

    For reference, I believe that you're referring to the KV-CM1K.
