Sorry if this was asked before, not sure how to search threads in the Hawaii thread. My 2020 Model 3 has unfortunately started to develop that infamous moldy smell. Does Tesla Service Hawaii cover this? Has anyone had experience?
Tesla will charge you 150 to send out a technician to fix the smell.
You can do it yourself for under 20 dollars. Just buy this AC cleaner. It is the same stuff Tesla uses.
Tesla wouldn't cover it when my car was less than 6 months old. So I paid once and now every 6 months or so I do it myself. The O'Reilly in Mililani usually has it in stock.
