Hi guys, Does anyone know how many vehicles require new battery and motors as the vehicles get older. What is the short and long term replacement requirement for these components? How does this compare to conventional engine cars?
use google search don't know how? read the google search help files you might start with: google search help files just enter the above phrase into google search and start reading and experimenting - this is a skill you will enjoy using/learning/find helpful you know anyone who has replaced an engine? side note: IF you have a Jag XKE - Jag was replacing engines with electric motors and batteries. And you could always switch back to the original engine.
Engine component replacement is well documented and it's easy to understand replace of components (ancillaries, bearings, clutch, etc.) and the corresponding cost I'm not sure how this compares in a Tesla. How often does the battery and motor need replacing and how much does it cost? It's not exactly something you can Google to find a list of companies selling components
