battery/charging percent

Hello all. Had a quick question. Is it normal for the charging to go like 1 to 2 % over the set limit sometimes when you charge? For example, I have my limit set to 80% and sometimes I see it at 82% and even sometimes at 79%. Is that normal or is something going on?

From my experience, this is due to the effect that temperature has on the SoC.

For example, after completing a charge at 10kW, the pack will have an increased temp which raises the SoC from the BMS’s perspective, and there‘s probably a delay in the max pack temp after the charge stops due to abruptly going from 10kW to 0. After the pack cools down, the BMS may report a decrease in the SoC.
