Battery degradation analysis?

I figure there's enough milage on 3's now that data's available to begin an analysis similar to this one for the S, but I've not had any luck finding one. Anybody seen one?

The reason I'm curious is I've not done a trip charge in a while, and was shocked to see how much range I still have after 11K+ miles. I had to leave before it hit 100%, but was at 309 miles with 10 minutes remaining. If 309 is it then I've only seen 0.3% degradation.

No stress here. Based on the S results (direct link to chart the the article was based on) I thought I'd see around 3% degradation, or 300 miles of range. So after unexpectedly seeing 309 (possibly 310) I was curious what others were seeing.

I have an S since 2012 and a 3 with >30k miles: 90% on my 3 went from 280 to 279 at 7k and then 278 at 35k and now up to 285 with the range "improvement" with the latest software. Have never charged to 100%, so I think if I did a couple times, I may see 0% degradation.
Note: no supercharging and no 100% charging, so maybe that helps (?), but very impressed as well. --- Model S had about 5% degradation by now

Odd - I'm not seeing the thumbnails in my initial post.

If I click on the 1st one nothing happens, while the 2nd brings up just that image. It shows 1/1 in the corner and no thumbnail.

if I open the page via Firefox I see both thumbnails and both images.

Clicking on either and I see the image, #/2 and both thumbnails

Nice! Looks like I've Supercharged about 25 times, all during trips such as to Fort Benning, but not when I'm at home. I've also charged to 100% for those trips, but always timed to finish when I'd be hitting the road.

This last 100% was for the 2K19 Galveston Cruise as I wasn't sure how much range I'd need for the day. Turned out to be unnecessary as I had 160 miles left when I got home.

My battery health is all over the place. Linear graph was trending down a month or so ago and now trending up a touch.

The raw data is quantized and it is also noisy because SoC is measured indirectly by Tesla. The linear fit does a good job at removing the outliers and shows that the battery health is essentially flat so far (which is great)

I'm sitting at 310 after almost 22k miles and almost 1 year. It had dropped to around 300 but either the warmer temps lately or the fact that I drove down to 5% recently has me popped right back up to 310.
Love this car. Lots more miles to go...

What do you routinely charge it to? Many folks with inaccurate range estimates who charge routinely to less than 80

Initially I used to charge to only 70% but after reading some posts about that, I started charging to 90%. I just did a long trip and got the battery down to 8% I was hoping that would help with the range @ 100% but it didn't.

It seems like my range dropped all of a sudden after the 8.5 update. My 80% went from 247 to 245 immediately after the update. when calculate for 100% thats 309 down to 306.

Funny how we(I) obsess about degradation...tormenting about losing 3 miles of range. I need to just set my display to % and just drive lol.

I have about 3% range loss (314 mile range) after 23,000 miles. Degradation on the Model 3 is much better than it was on my Model S.

I've noticed the same thing. At a 90% charge was getting an indicated 279 miles. (310 at 100%) which was steady since bought the car.
Over the coarse of the last 2 weeks that dropped to 270 miles exactly, (300 at 100%)

P3D+

Suspicious as that numbers seem 'too exact' and the change to be too quick to be a physical, hardware change. Can only be a software re-calibration...

Update since I posted that. My 90% dropped and settled from 277/278 to 272/273. Just seems so sudden...next charges immediately after the update.
