Right now, firmware does not allow turning on battery heater alone. I know some people have put forward such a request on the firmware. I will second that. Coupling cabin heater with battery heater is kinda awkward design. Since under range mode, battery heater can be controlled to a limited output, maybe we can have an option on iPhone and Android app to turn on the battery heater remotely.
