    Have any of you checked the version of your battery pack?
    If you have, what is it?
    Are all those in Australia at least a version E?

    turn your steering wheel to the left
    look into the front wheel well on right side
    you can see the corner of the battery which has a sticker attached that shows you serial number and product number of the battery
    and if you do that, why don't you add an entry to the battery table?

    Front passenger wheel well, on the side of the battery pack. You should see this:

    This is a Rev E Battery pack.

    Yep, I have an E. I think a couple of the early cars have a D. I think there was some discussion in early Jan in the Tesla in Australia thread.

    Please correct me if I have this wrong. I have seen reports that the versions have different charging capabilities and I think they were ...

    A = 90 kW
    B = 120 kW
    C = ??
    D = 150 kW
    E = ??

    Has anyone got verified info on this?

    A pack is limited to 90kW, B pack and newer can do up to 125kW (ref: Battery wiki)

    Mine is an E pack. It was one of the earliest Australian cars, delivered 15th Dec because we missed the launch on the 9th being offshore until the 14th. However, the first demonstrators might be well D's.

    Mine is a D - one of the Signatures. I put it down to "luck of the draw" they would have been using the Ds until they ran out - seems like I was at that point...

    Anybody have a rev or model number for refreshed 90? In a different post I saw the number for a P90, just wondering if S90 is the same?

    I am really surprised given our two cars were very close together in sequence of the first Signatures. Mine is 1014114-00-E.

    The battery pack has a part number and a revision. Back when the "A pack" "E pack" terminology was coined, everyone's battery had the same part number, so the revision number was all that's needed to identify a particular battery type. Now there are many different part numbers for the battery, each with multiple revisions, so the "A pack" "E pack" terms are no longer meaningful. For example, a 1064362-00-A battery (what would've been referred to as "A pack" in the past) is newer than a 1031043-00-E battery.

    See Battery table for a list of known battery pack part numbers.
