Battery to Zero

I missed an exit an unfortunate location which brought me to “zero” miles of range (per the car) which I had to continue to drive for another few miles to reach a charger. Stupid, I know and my fault. I was pushing to within ~10 miles in the wrong place. Anyways, my car never actually lost power but it must have been very close. How bad was that on the battery?

Good news: You know where the floor is (lava) and hopefully will do your best not to get burnt again.
Bad news: see above.

Just like charging to 100% and maintaining that level for extended periods of time, it’s not good for the battery to get that far discharged. Try to not do it again as next time you may not get so lucky regarding “reserve” power.
