i have just driven 60 miles ina ne Model X and used 120 miles of battery life. Is this typical?

About normal for inexperienced driver. You get near the stated ranges under those conditions only if you hit the highway (long, over 200mile runs) and know how EVs work and use it right.

It’s the just above freezing that got you. Cold reduces range of all cars because cold air has more resistance, but EVs even more so because batteries don’t work as well in cold.

What about elevation? Did you drive up a hill or gain elevation from source to destination?
