I apologize if this was already asked and answered, but I couldn't find an answer using search...

When the Tesla (S or X) is "off" and you're constantly opening/closing the Falcon doors to show inquiring folks, does it use the 70/90 kw pack or the 12V battery which could drain it very quickly?

Thanks in advance!

The door actuators use the 12V system. However, if you're showing the FWD's off, it's likely that the traction pack contactors are engaged and the power is being drawn from the DC-DC converter. This is definitely true when the doors are open, but is almost always true when you're standing near the car as well with the keyfob.

So it's unlikely that you're going to affect the 12V battery by demonstrating the car.
