I am very surprised this is not at the top of the boards. I thought having unlimited miles on the model S is HUGE, not sure of the X is like this or not.

You really going over 100k miles in 8 year? I haven't yet hit 100k in 10. If I was going to exceed that by a lot I guess it might bother me, but I don't see it as having any real effect.
For others here I'd bet a good portion sell their cars before they get near it.
The mileage limits on the battery pack correspond to only ~400-500 full cycles - from that perspective, the mileage limit on the battery warranty for the 3 is rather disappointing.
Battery: 8 years/100,000 milesWhat is it on the Bolt?
I thought the model S/X has unlimited on the motor and not the battery.
Both are covered for S/X for unlimited unless you have a pre-2015 S60.
Vehicle Warranty
It says 8 years or unlimited miles. Why even put the 8 years part? How could that apply. What am I missing.
The warranty lasts 8 years no matter how many miles you drive (even if you only put 40k miles on it in 8 years)
Under 10k per year is quite below the mean. You really going over 100k miles in 8 year? I haven't yet hit 100k in 10.
Yes this was mentioned upthread. Miles may be unlimited, but there's a time limit of 8 years.Model S & Model X:
Infinite Mile Warranty
