Bay Area recommendations for window Tinting?

I'm new to this community and navigating to the answers I need seems to be putting me down various rabbit holes.

While I understand that a lot more people are looking for PPF/ceramic places around here- I'm wondering if people have strong recommendations for window tinting in the area?

Based on my research in various threads, it seems that Xpel + or premier tint is best? Not really sure, but if someone can give me some pointers or help my current knowledge of tinting- that would be great!

Thank you!!!

Premier Mobile Group in Fremont is the best. They use Spectra Photosync and are skilled at large curved windows, including the Model X windshield. I did the front 3 with Spectra Photosync IRD 70 on my Model Y PUP. The labor was excellent compared to my other MY PUP which was done with Xpel Prime XR Plus and Xpel PPF at a certified Xpel installer in Burlingame.

I just went to Mr Tint in San Jose. Went with Xpel prime plus on all windows including windshield, for me I wanted the best as far as heat rejection and seems Xpel was up there with the top tints. Highly recommend them, great work and also seem to work on a ton of Tesla’s.

Give Greg a call at Auto Mall Tint Specialists in Fremont. He has tinted my last 5 vehicles (2 Denalis, 2 Ford Trucks, and 1 Jeep Wrangler) and I will be taking my MYP to him once it gets delivered for 3M Ceramic on the sides and back and 3M Crystalline on the windshield.

He does amazing work!

Looking to get a Model 3 tinted in the bay area and found this thread. Thanks for the recommendations. FYI I called YS Window Tinting and was told they can only tint the bottom half of the rear window as they don't carry large enough material (I assume the Y would be the same story).

Mr Tint in San Jose does offer full rear, though the pricing seemed a bit steep compared to other quotes I've seen.

You might want to clarify what "Bay Area" you are referring to ? Seems like folks think you are talking about the San Francisco area, yet I know a lot of bay areas in the USA. :)

yeah, us SF bay area folks sometimes forget we are not the only "bay area" in the world. Sorry about that....most of us really aren't as conceded as our "bay area" pretense makes us sound.
