    Hi everyone,

I'm going to be in CA for work during the last week of April and thought that would be the perfect excuse for another forum meet up. I know it's been talked about a couple of times, so maybe I can be the catalyst

I'm mostly going to be in the Bay Area, so I'm open to suggestions as to where people think is best to go for this. Doug and Graham should also be able to make it along and I hope to meet up with many of the rest of you, if possible.

The weekend of the 25th and 26th works best for me. I'd prefer the Sunday as it means I can fly over on Saturday and not have to take extra time off work, but if there is a strong preference for the Saturday then I will leave a day early.

I need to be booking my tickets by tomorrow morning, so I'd appreciate a quick consensus on the date, if people are interested.

    David

Yes, after a long break... it's TMC Forum Meet, Part Deux!

We'll work out whatever details later, but right now we're starting with deciding on the date.

Joyce and I both can be available for Sunday. If it is Saturday, it is possible that only I will attend. Either way, see you all there!

    OK voting is now closed.

Looks like a clear preference for Sunday - sorry flabby (maybe your plans will change).

I shall get the tickets booked.

    Edit: Booked.

We should figure out some sort of plan and schedule for the meet.

My first thought is we could gather and get lunch at the PF Chang's across the street from the MP store. Grab some food together, and then walk over to tour the TM facility. There is a pretty good chance my Roadster will be there getting its drive train installed by then.

PS. I am sorry TEG and flabby can't make it! It was good seeing both of you at the Model S intro last night.

    Sounds good Graham.

I've checked with TM that it is ok for a group of us to drop into MP on that day, which it is. Fingers crossed we will be able to make it more than just a usual store visit...

Sorry you other guys can't make it too - I was looking forward to meeting a few more of the characters from the forum during my visit.

So far I'm still planning to join in. And I have a tentative pick-up date for my Roadster of April 28th, so my car will either be nearly done, or if things go swimmingly, I will have it in time to drive it to Sunday's meet.

Excellent. Maybe we can use this as an excuse to get Tesla to hurry up with your car

    LA meet Super Car Sunday

As a counter-meet to the Bay area get-together, this Sunday is also the end of the month version of SuperCar Sunday.

Dr Taras mentioned he would have his (tricked out) Tesla there.

Virtually all the car clubs in LA make the greet at one time or another. (just google it) It's a cool place to go if you just like cars.

I'm just floating this idea. The Dr might need help extolling the benefits of EVs. If there is strong enough interest, we can make a new thread.
