profoundly ignorant of current EV technology
Scanning the comments; I saw this AutoCar article doing the same thing but despite the same inevitable outcome the story comes over as factual and accurate rather than attention grabbing Clarksonian bafooning around. http://www.autocar.co.uk/News/NewsArticle/AllCars/250529/
Today we don’t need electric vehicle to perform these tasks as today’s internal combustion engines are almost zero emission.
After NiMH was sidelined they effectively had some time off until recent lithium developments changed the picture significantly. We've also seen the FUD levels skyrocketing in recent years as EV's become a viable reality. It's a combination of special interests with a lot to lose, general ignorance, and fear of change.Reading those quotes made me realize the enormity of the education that's going to have to come to get these folks up to speed. I have to doth my cap to the likes of Begley, Scott and Sexton who've been battling this for more than a decade.
Ha. I tried to answer him but I like your response better.
Whether you're soar away sun or BBC 1
Disinformation is a weapon of mass destruction
Boils down to "we know we might be pretty harsh on EVs, but because they don't do everything we imagine they should (whatever that are actually sold for) we're damn right to show them up for the heap of stinking trash they obviously are."
