BC and (new) Referral Program

I know there is fine print that says BC residents are exempt from the referral program rewards. But not sure what that means for the free supercharging.

Do we still get the free supercharging credit and are only excluded from the raffle for the Y and Roadster? Or do we also miss out on the free supercharging?

What if someone from BC uses our (also from BC) referral code. Do they get the free supercharging at least?

Did you get any of the other rewards from the last referral program?

Also wonder why BC is excluded.

No, it was my only purchase and I was his only referral. In fact when we were test driving, the sales advisor was actively pushing the free 6 months - and this was all done in Vancouver. If there was a BC resident exclusion policy, they certainly weren't enforcing it. But, this was late October / November. Perhaps it'll be handled differently this time.

Feel free to buy a Tesla using my code and see what happens ;)

Talked to the store manager about the referral program. You can get the supercharger miles when you buy a Tesla, with the referral, but you will never get miles from referring someone else, in BC. So it's a one time gig in BC, and only for the buyer.

Just to clarify. Are you saying that if a new buyer uses my referral code to purchase a Tesla in Vancouver, they will get the Supercharger credit, but I will not?

Thanks.

I’m in BC. If I decide to order, how do I use a referral code?

Once you have chosen a referral code, enter that in your browser which will take you directly to the referral page of the person you choose. Now you can order the car of your choice and you should qualify for the 7500Km free supercharging. Tesla will not allow you to retroactively enter a referral code if you order through them. Hope thats not too confusing.

Make sure you get the link from the referring person.
I tried to use my son-in law’s referral code when I ordered on the Canadian site but it kept bouncing me to the US site. Eventually I placed the order without the code, and my order specialist said she’d enter it manually. No supercharging credits showed up in either my, nor my son-in-law’s loot boxes. Who do I contact to resolve this since my order specialist no longer seems to be involved? Ideas?

Contact the owner advisor, the salesperson who assisted you. It may take a week to show up. This happened to me as well, after a couple phone calls it was resolved.

It would have been great to have a couple of referrals to extend free charging for 18 months (22,500km). I don't care about the raffle to win a car for referrals. It's the option of having the right to use the charging meter for free. We get free charging from Chargepoint in a majority of the Lower Mainland.

I don't think it stacks like that. Each referral will extend it by another 6 months.
