We are officially below $1m available... picking mine up tomorrow and they've already included CEV in the MVPA so I'm assuming that's part of the "reserved" pool. Here's hoping as many others can get this for their Tesla's before it runs out!

I've got a VIN and a pickup date on the 30th barring any transportation issues. Fingers crossed for us all.

If you take a look at the 2018 (2020 / 2021 uncommitted) Objective 1.2 http://www.bcbudget.gov.bc.ca/2018/sp/pdf/ministry/empr.pdf

While not explicitly stating the amount committed, it looks like there are discussions for continuing and accelerating the CEV Program.

Last time there were funds recommitted, it was an announcement on Feb 3, 2017 for $40 million – $40 Million in New Funding for Clean Energy Vehicles - Plug In BC

I believe the funds were executable in March of 2017. That being said, new provincial government, new year... considering we have the NDP / Green Party, there's probably a decent chance that it'll be refunded. But, no one wants to wait now do we? :)

Tesla Delivery called me today, advised my VIN and that my delivery will be on Thurs Sept 27th at Powell St. I suspect the CEV funds will be exhausted by then. Any suggestions from the forum on how to secure the grant now that I have been issued a VIN?

Tell them you can’t make it on the 27th and can only come earlier...like tomorrow or Monday. Looks like they may run out of the CEV by tomorrow if another 60-70 cars are delivered. Maybe they can reserve funds for you since you have a VIN now...talk with your sales advisor if you have one or talk to a delivery specialist.

I believe if Tesla has your delivery paperwork prepared you can reserve the funds. You may ask a delivery specialist to prepare your paperwork tomorrow somehow.

There’s going to be alot of unhappy people after this weekend.

Thanks. I phoned Vancouver Tesla Delivery Services and got voice mail. Asked that question with a message. Who knows when they will respond. Agreed there are going to be a lot of bummed out folks, including me if I miss the grant. Not Tesla's fault - chalk this one up to BC politics and governmental inaction. Car Dealer's Association probably not going to help either, given that Tesla is probably seen as the enemy. Sucks for us that are clinging to hope for getting in under the wire...

Thinking I was going to be about 1 day too late, the CEVfor BC funds Top Up is indeed most welcome. Credit to the BC government for doing this. Mind you, for those of us living on the cusp, a little more notice might have reduced about $5,000 worth of anxiety!
