BC CEV rebate fund topped up

Totally agreed.
I find it odd that we are more proactive to get the information than Tesla people. Apparently, my advisor is out of office and is not answering calls or reply to emails about scheduling our delivery and get the $3K rebate. It is our first time buying Tesla. It just seems it is like dealing with a traditional dealer. On the good side, they are not commission. On the downside, I do feel that our advisor is hard to get to and there is no backup when he is away. Also when we have questions, there is no good way to call. Our calls either went to general lines or were just not answered.

Exactly the same experience here.

Who is your advisor? I sent mine an email a few days ago and haven’t heard anything back. I just assumed they we’re busy.

Our advisor is Dean. Sometime he is very quick to reply. Sometime he is slow. We assume he is busy. We just wish there is an advisor in backup when we can't reach our primary advisor.

Do you live in North Saanich? We live in Saanich.

Yes I do! We’re very close to the ferries so at lest we can cut the pat bay out of our trip to pick up the car. Our advisor is Kevin. He’s been pretty good before. The thing that gets me is my last email that he hasn’t responded to was saying that My husband and I heard the funds ran out and talked it over and decided that we would go ahead even without the rebate and that if anyone canceled/ refused delivery we could happily jump on the ferry and pick it up. Maybe it’s just me but I kind expected an email back just saying “Great, things are in flux right now but I’ll let you know if anything comes up.”

The CEV is going quick. It was topped up yesterday and one day later almost 10% is gone.
There was probably a back log of manual applications they processed today. Last time they topped up with 4 million was in November right? Maybe I’m being too optimistic but the 4 million is about 800 cars which should see us to the end of the month and hopefully Tesla will push to get everything here before the end of the quarter.

It’s only $3K rebate per car max for BC incentive. So minimum number of rebates for $4M is 1333 cars if all get $3K, but PHEV get $1500 that draw from the same funds too.

I wonder if this will be the final top up?

Also I’m in the same boat as the others, don’t get much info from the rep and don’t even get through when I call. The reps don’t have much urgency to help anyways. They recently closed down the Robson location so if I want to go in it’s Park Royal which is quite the drive for me

Went in to Park Royal today, after a few days of radio silence from my SA. Apparently they’ve been crazy busy cancelling deliveries after CEV ended, and then rescheduling now that things are back on.
Anyway, sounded like there were lots of open spots. Got scheduled in for a delivery on Tuesday.

I did a similar thing. Called Tesla few times and finally Tesla delivery called me to schedule delivery for Sunday. I haven't seen my appointment shown up in my account yet. Have to check and confirm the appointment again tomorrow. As we live in Victoria, don't want to take the ferry over and realize that our appointment didn't get scheduled. This is our 3rd attempt to take delivery. Fingers crossed.

I have been in contact with my advisor in Langley and he’s been great at getting back to me and updating me on the rebate issue. My delivery was ok hold cause he told me Tesla was trying to get the feds to approve the 5k rebate on the standard model Y but when Tesla dropped that model from the website that ended as well but then the 3k bc rebate ran out of money but that looks like it’s back on. My pick up day is March 5th as of now.

We thought we would check in with our SA at the Vancouver showroom today, then noticed a text to set up our delivery this week. Totally unexpected for such short notice. I call the SA, he said they had held back 500 deliveries waiting for the CEV top-up. He also said trying to defer our delivery a few weeks would run the risk of losing the rebate. Now we are all set for next weekend to pick up the car. The delivery specialist I spoke to also mentioned the money would not last too far into March. Both the SA and DS were both helpful and reachable. Not to be a bearer of bad news, just passing along what I heard.

same situation. Just got a text for scheduling. Did you get a final payment agreement and/or VIN?

I didn’t get any. Now they’re pushing as the quarter end is coming

When did you all put orders in? I ordered Feb 1st and still haven’t heard anything. My service advisor is also useless, I’m concerned about missing out on the rebate
I put mine in feb 3rd. Sr+ Pearl white, black interior, 18” stock wheels. My estimated date right now is 3-10th. SA yesterday said that he expects that estimate is correct with how things are moving right now.

Yesterday I picked up in Vancouver the Standard Range Model Y I ordered the morning after they pulled it off the website. I had a VIN assigned the day I ordered it, as they were able to match me with something they had in inventory. But I couldn't pick it up because of the empty(ing) CEV fund. Once that got topped up I tried calling my sales advisor a bunch of times and after two days gave up, called the main line, asked to pick up my car as soon as possible, and within minutes they scheduled me for delivery the next day. When I came down there and looked around I found my car, with the old-style center console. I also noticed a bunch of Model Ys there with the new center console, so I asked for one of those. They told me they only have one like that that matches my configuration and I may have to come back the next day once they bring it out and detail it. I said that's totally okay with me and they ended up being able to get it to the lot and detail it so that I drove it away after a few hours there. Very happy about how that went down.

One thing that got me a bit upset was that one of the reps walking around the lot there insisted that the new center console was in fact "the old 2020 variant" and the piano black was the new "2021", so I was actually actually asking for an older one. I knew this to be completely false, so asked someone else. Not sure if he was confused or purposefully misleading, but everything else about the experience was great.

They seemed to be extremely busy there yesterday. One rep I asked said that they had 100 deliveries yesterday.
