BC Rocky Mountain trip - free FLO level 2 chargers-a-plenty everywhere.

Just finishing a trip from Vancouver to calgary and back and was impressed with all the free level 2 chargers in all the small towns.

Usually located in tourist info centres and other facilities/parks in town. Would allow for an overnight charge or a 2 hour charge while walking/eating in town.

Fabulous experience and was a great way to experience the small towns.

I believe bc hydro funded these together with government to encourage road trips.

Overall spent around $100 on super chargers over 12 days on a 3500 km road trip.

Literally any town in the region has free level 2 chargers. A mix of Tesla and the other type almost always at the tourist office.

went the northern route (kamloops, glacier national park, golden, radium hot springs, banff) and came back through kimberley, creston, salmo (population 1100) , christina lake, osoyoos, princeton. Literally every little town in the region had free level 2 chargers. Probably saw 40 free chargers just driving through the region. not even searching them out, they were just along the main road through town. only once was the charger in use at a swimming pool in kimberly when we were going for a swim.

Some towns such as princeton had 2 free Tesla chargers and a free J1772 at the tourist centre. Had a 40 minute break walking around town and was able to get 5 kw charge,

more than half our charging was done through free chargers. Flo network was fabulous!
