Beach buggy sound?

Picked up yesterday, car is awesome, my 5 year old is loving the video games esp beach buggy...quick question though...when we play there is no sound on it all (despite the volume control being on and maxed out), is this correct or should there be sound and mine isn't working correctly...

Mine is quiet but definitely audible. You don't seem to be able to adjust volume when playing other than in the game settings but that is more a mixer of music vs game levels. Suggest you try playing some music/spotify fairly loud, pause the track and then start the game.
