I think my batteries are going bad in my tpms sensors on my first gen Model S. Has anyone had luck with a certain brand aftermarket 315 mhz tire pressure sensors?

Thanks,

Steve

I have no input on aftermarket, but my recommendation would be to get newer ones and Have tesla bump you to Gen 2 in the car, so you get the readouts on all 4 tires individually. It's my understanding that Tesla has been doing this a lot for people, they did it for me and I didn't even ask.

Hi Steve,

I would add a warning that I believe Gen 1 sensors by Baolong are 433.92 or 433 mhz.
They are the same as Roadsters after serial 501. I have one.

If you confirm that you want 433 mhz sensors - I believe Dill 2112 are a direct replacement.
That is what I currently have in my Roadster.

Alternatively if Tesla will upgrade you to the Continental system that is the way to go.
(Even if they charge a modest fee for the upgrade.)
