Best base color for color wrap? Black (not white)

Based on my reading on this community, Reddit, and elsewhere - it seems like most people who plan to color wrap their car chose the cheapest option: white. (“Why pay for a color if you will cover it anyway?”)

But this video I happened to see today illustrates a good point - unless you pay a lot extra to have all the areas inside the doors wrapped as well, BLACK is probably going to be the best option:
