I'll throw my hat in the ring for the potential Kal tire group buy in GTA. I am getting my own tpms on ebay, and probably will get rims on my own too so it would be just for the tires. Depending on what they charge to install and mount, I could go with them too....I have a place in Burlington I've been going to for a while that charges $50-60 cash to install and balance 4 tires.
What proof do you have regarding "Lots of 3 owners get rid of their aero wheels immediately", and which forum classifieds are you talking about? Sorry, without proof, this is just unfounded conjecture, and should be treated as such.

So I just went to Kal Tire. Right now they have about 73 Hakka R3's in their warehouse serving all eastern locations.
They will NOT be open to a further discount with a group buy. They said the TOCO membership discount is as low as they go. Please see the following quote they provided to me. I just put down a deposit for my 4 tires to be installed at a later date.
SUBTOTAL = $1,174.92
HST = 152.74
TOTAL = $1,327.66

+1 R3s on factory rims -- Prefer location closer to Toronto if possible!! Doesn't matter which shop.

15 install fee is it? Looks like a good deal since they offer all the added service for the TOCO group for free.

Yeah, seems pretty decent especially since those services can be rendered at any Kal Tire.

Oh, sorry I thought you meant installation of the TPMS. No, I'll be using my oem 18s and TPMS sensors.
No worries. Someone else had asked if it included installation. I just wanted to know if you got the sensors somewhere else. Thanks!
