best game controller for MCU2

Hi,
I have ordered the MCU2 retrofit for my 2013 TMS. Ho many game controller (my 2 kids and I = 3 geeks) do I have to buy and what are the best game controllers fur the MCU2? (I don't know the videogames of the MCU2 ans the max number of players).
I found a lot of informations about game controllers for TM3/Y but are the same game controllers compatible for TMS?

I can tell you it works with ps4 controllers connected by usb cables. I bought the mayflash magic ns wireless adaptors, hoping it would work but it does not with the PS4 controllers.

I use my Xbox one x controller with USB cable. Works well.

I have only noticed games up to 2 simultaneous players but I didn’t look that close. Just buy some used controllers.

I have the F310 on the X and the Y. They're cheap and you can find them at most targets.
