Best government support for EV?

Adelaide Lord Mayor has called for more government support for EV.

What do you think would be the best way to support EV? Tax rebates? Registration discounts? Charging infrastructure? Other?
For me, having invested already in 2 Tesla I wouldn't benefit from any future tax rebates. I would benefit ongoing from a registration rebate. The key thing however that would improve my EV experience would be improved charging infrastructure, especially public HPWC across regional centers.

Agreed. We are starting to see this in BC more with the addition of 13 more fast chargers and 40 more level 2 chargers just in the kootenay region of the province. This would put us at 44 DCFC for the province and over 1200 level 2. But I think the pace needs to be picked up as well as some of these need to be twinned or triple stations...just from the point of redundancy. Lots of routes towards the north still not covered. (Prince George etc).
