Better than my score! My best was under 8,000. Granted I only played it once, but I play a ton of Threes on my iPhone.

isn't the point of the game to get a tile worth 2048? if that were the case, wouldn't you want the lowest score possible? how low of a score can you get and still get a 2048 tile?

I played this a lot, mostly on my phone though.
There are definitely skills one can acquire, and with skills one can get to 2048 consistently. Anything beyond that will require some luck.
