@MountainPass do you have a video or instructional photo album on adjusting these?
Our coilover installation instructions include both spring perch and damper settings so there is no guessing game. I have spent too many hours adjusting coilovers that didn't come with any instructions to do that to our customers!
I thought the 20” wheels were supposed to be an even worse ride?I live also in NYC just swap the wheels to 20/19 will be much better ride I swap to 20 an i love it
For someone who has not installed coilovers - can I reasonably DiY this install? I have been eyeing your coilovers and projecting to install on MYP and future LR AWD Y.
How comfortable are you with basic wrenching on your car?
I like thinkering with it - I do my tire rotations, installed auto frunk, HomeLink, disassemble/reinstalled bumper/panels...never suspension tho.
getting mine on tomorrow - how much did you drop it. I was thinking an inch or less.Would you mind sharing pictures of the adjustment knobs?
I’m wanting to raise itgetting mine on tomorrow - how much did you drop it. I was thinking an inch or less.
hmmm - was going for more of the "look" (and ride of course) but was worried about curbs.I’m wanting to raise it
Kudos to DIYers who can change the suspension. It would freak me out too much if I will mess it up in any way especially since my family will be riding in there.
alignments are typically $80-120, which you would probably want to do regardless if you do an aftermarket suspension. It appears the alignment on Model Ys straight from the factory can be out of spec.Agreed. I wish I had experience with wrenching on my suspension, but I always thought you'd have to get an alignment so I never bothered.

Paramus or Cherry Hill?Totally true. Mine was. I drove it off the pick up center and realized the steering wheel was off. I drove it right back and made them do an alignment and it was off. Did not instill confidence with my wife and father in law who came with me to pick it up.
The sales supervisor told me that they had someone drive it around before pick up and there was no issues. Seriously?!

Those are works of art.Ordered this setup from Redwood Motorsports, currently on BO but hopefully will be shipping next month... I love my Y but dislike the harsh ride very much!

You should be good if you take your time. This is a really good video on installation instructions. It will also give you a better idea of the amount of work involved. Hope this helps:
