do you know if this one will work, its black, and I'd spend the extra 7 bucks just to have it more stealth looking than the grey one.

Did you (or anyone else) end up trying this? I've been following all the controller threads for over a year now and nobody has mentioned having this higher version mayflash adapter, everyone uses the cheaper NS (or the 8bitdo). Since I need to upgrade my overheating Xbox when the series x is released in November, I'll finally have a spare controller to put in the car.

Logitech F710 wireless

This was recommended is some Tesla owners YouTube videos as well as some forum threads.

I wanted something simple. I didn’t need to have a specific PS or Xbox controller. I didn’t want to mess with having to flash firmware or software updated. I didn’t want bulky receivers.

I don’t do this one brought us much for some reason.

Model Y owner here, but this looks like a relevant thread for info on game controllers that work on a Tesla (and I'd prefer not to start a new thread unless it's necessary). Couple of questions:
1. any reason anyone can think of as to why thing(s) that work on a Model S wouldn't work on a Model Y?
2. most (all?) of the "working suggestions" in this thread look to be wireless controller solutions. I think I'd rather go with a wired route? I need one more battery to manage/maintain charge on like I need a hole in my head...

I have two of the "EasySMX" wired controllers (https://www.amazon.com/Controller-E...er/dp/B06XB6FRPR?ref=pf_ov_at_pdctrvw_dp&th=1) that often get cited (elsewhere on the internet) as being *the best options*, but from links/articles that are a year or so old... my (new) Model Y does not like them.

I have the new Jeda USB hub (6 plugs) hopefully coming sometime soon, so I should have plenty of powered USB ports to plug into...

The Logitech F310 wired controller works in my Model 3's. Including the newer one that has the same console as the Model Y. I admit I haven't tried every single game. They are also recommended in the forum, but most people seem to go off brand for price reasons, or over the top with XBOX or PS controllers and 3rd party wireless adapters.

Got it. Most of the wired controllers work without problems. With 2021 models where it's only USB-C ports that will be more of an issue. The wireless ones can be more tricky and much more expensive. You might also look for one with shock / rumble, for games that support it, if that's important to you.

Have you tested this on ALL games?
Ordered 2. One for our Model 3 & one for our Model S. Haven’t tried it in the S yet. Tested it in the 3. Works great. I was hoping to use both in one car for 2 players. Doesn’t seem
Possible. The receivers seem to be identical. Either controller can transmit to one receiver, not simultaneously and plugging both receivers doesn’t seem to work either.
Has anyone accomplished this?
Here is a response from the seller on 2 controller support...
