Article about Tesla stock, but what is the white car on the left in the picture? I recognize the Model S on the left. No mistaking the Model X alpha in the center. What is the car on the right??

Looks like the early Model S prototype.

It's the "beta" mule. It's only a shell and is on display at the Tesla factory in Fremont.

We rode in the operational "beta" in Carmel before we bought our Roadster. It was originally silver but they painted it red for the show.

As i said in a previous post i like it more the beta version of the Model S. in particular i like more the smaller side mirrors and the front bumpers.

P.S. Sorry for the small i when used as subject but i am having problems with my ipad

I like the beta look a bit more too but they had to make changes due to regulations/safety.

Nah, the beta version looks too similar to the XK, I think.
