I was configuring a Tesla on the Tesla.com website and it shows a "Destination" fee of $1,125. My Tesla.com account is associated with my California address, but I may be moving here (I already own a place on the Big Island), so I was wondering if the destination fee is standard regardless of where you are in the United States or do they increase it for Hawaii?
I guess I'm just wondering in general if there are any extra fees associated with buying (or owning) a Tesla in Hawaii -- and specifically the Big Island -- which is even more "remote" than Oahu / Honolulu, presumably.
Thanks
Edit: By the way, I also saw my first Model 3 here -- a silver one driving down from Waimea this afternoon. Not sure if that was anyone's on this forum.
