Big Island EV Association Plug In America Event.

Please join us Sunday September 29, at Kona Commons, 10:00AM-2:00PM for National Plug In America Day! We are hosting this year's local event, bring your EV and join in the Fun, or if just curious, come and find out more about all that we are doing here on the Big Island to promote the growth of EV infrastructure and to experience the EV revolution! We'll be near the side of Sports Authority near the EV Charge Station, closest the Highway. That is too bad we don't have a Plug In America Event on Oahu this year. Maybe next year. I bet we could get a lot of the MS owners on Oahu to come out.

Oahu should be easy. These events are all put on by volunteers; if you can find a parking lot and invite some owners, that's all you really need. You can create an Oahu event HERE.

Frankly, I'm surprised someone from Oahu hasn't already started an event on the most populous of these Sandwich Isles. Surely, there's a die-hard EV'er among the Leaf crowd!

The Sierra Club did one in 2011. I like the route they did. Hmmmmm....

Today, I received an email from Plug In America that has a tie to the Asia Pacific Clean Energy Summit and Expo at the Hawaii Convention Center, Honolulu 9-11 Sep. This posting has been moved to the Oahu Plug-in Event thread
