Biggest tires on model Y performance

What are the biggest tires you can fit on the model Y performance on 21 inch ubertines without hitting the sidewalls? I like the rim size but I just want a little more smoother ride. Would 275/40/21 fit?

This is a good thread for reference with plenty of first hand experience and pictures.

Stock/Staggered Überturbines and I just got new rear tires only… Pirelli P-Zeros in 275/35… I wanted to go wider but Discount Tire didn’t have any available. AND the “new” P-Zeros have a curb rash “lip”!!

Compare my pictures of the new P-Zero rear 275/35 w the stock/Tesla P-Zero 255/35…

My tire sizes are still stock/staggered, but the rears have rim protection now! Had I known that, I may have just replaced the fronts also but they have enough tread left so I didn’t. (Lead foot)

I used 285/35/20 on ,9.5x 20 35 offset rims and definitely found the ride to be still firm which is fine but less harsh. Car has a way more sold feel less nervous over broken surfaces. List about 6% in range but may up tire pressure a little as ride is less annoying. No doubt will get better as tires get run in.
