Any thoughts on how the fire ash is affecting our bio filters? Seems like the life should be drastically reduced. Perhaps requiring replacement this year. I'm in WA and have never used it before now. For those of you that aren't aware the air is so bad that you can't see across the street at times, rated as a breathing health hazard. It's really bad! We'll only need it a couple more days so it might not affect the life that much. I'm fortunate to not have to go out but some are not so lucky and have to drive every day or so.

The particles are certainly not virus level size but it does eliminate the odor. Maybe we should just be relying on our normal filter.
