Bioweapon defense mode fan speed

I am very confused. None of this adds up.

You can make it add up by taking the car apart to see that the air has no other path. (Seen first hand) On recic it does not go, but without the higher fan value you don't get the correct pressures. Thus not Bio Defense mode. Still filtering, but not to the levels that would do what we have seen in videos.

I will look for a pic, but not taking my car apart today.

Amazing that this exact same discussion is on the Tesla forum with the same issues. Does HEPA filter only activate with BioDefense Mode?

I have noticed a significant difference driving across Wyoming over the years in between the S and 3 while fields are burned in the fall. No discernible difference between the two modes on S. One mode (Biodefense) does clean it faster. Yet to do the negative pressure aspect you need higher volumes, and there is a difference of sound in engaging. My thoughts were it was closing a damper tight on the recerc, and then adjusting as it sees fit.
