Only washed it a few times possibly 4 since September as I am afraid of putting more swirls. It came with some.
Been driving 35 years owned cars from rovers in the 90s to Hyundai, Toyota 00s, audi, bmws since. My last bmw had for 5 years from new and it was as good as new when sold in fact the dealer put it straight into the showroom it was mint, couple of stone chips I sorted no swirls scuffs, nothing just a great looking and shiny car.
Definitely never had bird poo stain until now.
Went to Scarbough this weekend and the Tesla must have been a seagull target, more white than red, and me running out trying to remove it just in case but worried I may scratch it. No its a car and not a delicate item.
Also got stone chips about 6 now took 3 weeks to get drcolourchip touch up paint not used yet as Tesla UK has no paint. Got rash by rear sills (got front mud guards) and scuff on front bumper by the air intake from possibly a stone. SO the plastic may be a bit soft as well.
Always had scotch guard or other last 6 cars all BMW 5 Z4s and last M2
Use autoglym shampoo, super resin polish, resin top coat and anything else Did a session 1st wash.
Use power wash to start, shampoo with microfibre cloth, power wash, dry off with microfibre cloths. wheels last. All cloths machine washed. Will try 2 bucket with rinse first then shampoo bucket. Or power foam?
Seem to get lot of mess inside the doors and boot as well.
