black alacantra

I have never seen a car with black alacantra on the headliner. All cars I have seen for sale, including black cars, all have lighter tan or gray alacantra headliners. Did they not make darker colors?

It's a relatively new option, introduced around mid-2014.

I have the black headliner against tan leather. Looks sharp. The black roof flows nicely into the black plastic? trim everywhere else. I also have some alacantra on the dash as well.

My car is MC red w/ tan leather and black alcantara. I prefer this three-color palette to the four-color palette (with the white alcantara). The black flows well through the interior.

But to answer the OP, yeah, the black alcantara is a recent addition.

I can also vouch for the black alcantara being very nice.

When I ordered it, I didn't care too much about the material but I just bought it for the visual look. However the material is quite nice too, the first time anyone gets in my car and notices they always rub the headliner and comment on how nice it is.

Could not agree more that combo is clean especially with the premium interior

Not at all. Enjoyed it in both my MS. Dust does tend to show up on it though.

i went black headliner, grey seats, piano black. when i got into it for the first time at the pickup center, i couldn't stop smiling about how badass it looks.
