Black/Black 19inch no FSD - NO problem delivery

Picked up my Black on Black 19" today. VIN 12XXX, Mfg 6/20

Only Charge Port Door not flush with body. Have made a service appt for July, that is earliest available.

NO other issues found. You will fall in love with this baby.

I have never been so nervous picking up anything - reading up on forums about quality issues did keep me awake.

BUT nothing of that sort happened.

I have plasti dipped all the logos and Dual motor..

Great experience at a very busy dealership, great people. The tech, sales and even the person who put on the plates.

. Tesla's were flying of the lot like a fire sale going on...

Wow that looks fantastic! I debated between Blue and Black when I ordered and have NO regrets on blue but dang that black looks great. It is also great to hear about a no-issue car in the northeast! Thanks for giving me hope!

What center did you pick up at? I am having a transport delivery to my house here in NH but my closest SC will be in MA. Hopefully I won't have to go but it is good to hear that one center in MA is a good one!

I am having a transport delivery to my house here in NH but my closest SC will be in MA.

I just ordered and I'm also in NH, but it wants me to do a NJ pickup ~300 miles away. How did you arrange transport to NH?

Picked up yesterday at Dedham, also. No complaints, at all. Love the car. I was really nervous, after reading reports of problems. I’m not a car guy, but I spent ½ an hour going over the car with a checklist. Didn’t find any problems, but I’m going to recheck the charger door. Blue and black 19”. VIN 12xxx. The staff was very busy, but great. 60 deliveries, yesterday. It’s a blast to drive!

Tesla arranged it for me - I don't know what their requirements are for this. Honestly, I had assume that I would have to go to MA to pick it up. Once I had a VIN and MVPA I was assigned to a delivery specialist who is coordinating the transport-based service for me.

If I ever get the chance to talk with someone in delivery again, I'll ask what the criteria is for a transport delivery.

I am in the lakes region so I might be "too far" from a delivery center. All I know is that I'm happy that it's coming to me and that I don't have to plan a trip to NJ!

I picked mine up yesterday at Portland. It’s Res/Black/AWD/Tow Hitch and it is beautiful. Serial number 17XXX with a June 2020 build date. Didn’t ship wheel covers because they ran out but I wasn’t going to leave them on anyway so all is good. It is a big car compared to my Model 3.
