Black headliner option

Ordered mine last week with the Black Headliner (White with grey leather). I like the fact it matches the rest of the trim.

Just made some calls, and it looks like there are a couple good shops in town that can do a custom dark-colored headliner for significantly less $ than the Tesla black alcantara would cost (and unlike Tesla, their costs would scale down due to the pano roof). That would also allow me to avoid the dash inserts.

I think that's gonna be the way I go, but welcome further thoughts from those who made the plunge on the alcantara. It's certainly a nice material.

Please! Can anyone post pictures of the black Alcantara-headliner ? My P85 came with textile and are due for replacement. Maybe it´s possible to switch to black instead of cream.

Here are a few pics. The black is amazing. They told me that my car was the first Tesla with the factory installed black alcantera headliner.

Just got my S on the 19th and was one of the first to get the Black headliner with my black leather seats. It looks REALLY good! So glad I was able to switch to it. You'll love it

It's just the pics, it actually is black. These aren't the best either, but thought I'd share. I'll try and take better soon!

It will help quite a bit if you can shoot the photos with a grey card beside the alcantara.

I guess it`s exactly the same black as the alcantara on the sports-seats. Would like Too black would not be so good in my opinion. Would believe the fabric of the alcantara gives an impression that it`s a lighter tone than the rest of the black interior.
